Michael “Mike” Guevara as the Founding and Managing Shareholder of Guevara Law, P.C., brings over 20 years of experience in representing both general-law and home-rule municipalities in the State of Texas. He has extensive experience in municipal law issues including economic development, land use, zoning, ordinances, growth management, contract law, election issues, personnel matters, Texas Open Meetings Act and Public Information Act.  Mike is a member of the Texas City Attorney Association (TCAA) and has received the Merit Certification in Municipal Law through TCAA. Mike currently represents various Texas municipalities as city attorney advising city departments and public officials on a wide range of municipal law issues. He also serves as municipal court prosecutor to those represented municipalities. Additionally, Mike represents business owners, commercial developers, and families in public and private adoptions. Mike is a past City Councilmember and Mayor Pro-Tem to the City of Cedar Park, Texas (May 2018 – September 2020).

Before starting Guevara Law, P.C., Mike was a Shareholder at Shahan Guevara Decker and Arrott PLLC, a law firm focused on representing individuals, entrepreneurs, businesses, municipalities, agricultural producers, and landowners.
